“Weiping Wound Healing Cream” 

“慰平烧伤再生膏”是中国江苏盐城工学院烧伤专科门诊部主任、中西医结合副主任医师、盐城市名中医沈慰平研制的纯中药活体再生培养基；具有“祛腐、生肌、长皮、去疤”之功效，该制剂于2014年获中国发明专利（专利号：××××××），经过39年6万多名各类烧伤和疤痕患者的治疗证明，具有以下临床实用效果。
"Weiping Wound Healing Cream" is a pure Chinese medicine in vivo healing medium, developed by Shen Weiping who is head of Burn Specialist Clinic of Yancheng Institute of Technology (Jiangsu Province, China), associate chief physician specialized in combined therapy of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and a renowned TCM practitioner in Yancheng City and has the efficiency of "removing the rotten, regenerating the tissue, skinning and removing scar". It was awarded Chinese Patent in 2014 (patent No.: xxxxxx). The following clinical effects have been demonstrated by more than 60,000 patients who suffer from various burns and scars for a period of 39 years.
可以使深Ⅱº烧伤无疤痕
Making Deep Ⅱº burn with no scar left
累及真皮层的深Ⅱº烧伤，教科书阐明治愈后通常有疤痕存在于被烧伤的皮肤。早期使用“慰平烧伤再生膏”于被烧伤的深Ⅱº创面，创面愈合后继续使用“慰平烧伤再生膏”外敷2~3个月，结合口服活血化瘀中药30天左右，可以使标准的深Ⅱº烧伤达到近100%无疤痕和无色素沉着。
It is clarified in the textbook that the deep Ⅱº burn involved in the dermis generally will lead to scar on the burnt skin after being cured. In the early stage, apply the "Weiping Wound Healing Cream" on the deep IIº wound, and when the wound is healed, continue to apply it for 2~3 months, supported by orally taking traditional Chinese medicine for promoting blood circulation by removing blood stasis for 30 days around. The scar and pigmentation are approximately 100 % invisibly for the standard deep IIº burn.

Preventing patients suffering deep IIº~IIIº hybrid wound from skin grafting
目前纯西医对深Ⅱº~Ⅲº混合性烧伤创面，基本都需要手术植皮，甚至在同一创面反复植皮，且患者痛苦大、费用高，使用“慰平烧伤再生膏”可以使患者深Ⅱº~Ⅲº混合性创面自然生长愈合，不需手术植皮，愈合期在25~30天左右。经1万多名深Ⅱº~Ⅲº混合性烧伤患者的临床治疗实践观察，可以将住院深度烧伤患者的手术植皮率降至5%以下。
At present, patients with deep IIº~III° hybrid burning wound, by pure Western medicine, have to take skin grafting  and even repeated skin grafting on the same wound. In this way, the patients suffer a lot and the expenses are high. The "Weiping Wound Healing Cream" can make the deep IIº~III° hybrid wound grow and heal naturally without skin grafting. The healing period is about 25~30 days. It is observed from clinical treatment and practice for over 10,000 patients who suffer from deep IIº~III° hybrid burning, that the rate of operation and skin grafting for severely-burned patients can drop below 5%.

一、可以使绝大多数深度烧伤患者无功能障碍
III. Preventing the vast majority of severely-burned patients from functional disorders
深度烧伤：且指深Ⅱº、深Ⅱº~Ⅲº、Ⅲº烧伤。深度烧伤特别是累及皮肤深层以及皮下组织的烧伤，纯西医治疗在植皮消灭创面的同时，被治愈的创面会形成明显的疤痕隆起，隆起的关节部位会产生功能障碍。用“慰平烧伤再生膏”治愈的深度创面，经过创面愈合后的继续康复治疗，这种治疗包括外敷“慰平烧伤再生膏”以及口服中药汤剂，可以使绝大多数深度烧伤创面无明显的疤痕隆起，无关节部位功能障碍，经数千名深度烧伤患者治疗的临床观察，这个绝大多数达到98%以上。继续治疗的时间和被烧伤创面的深度呈正比，即创面越深，继续治疗时间越长；深Ⅱº创面一般需愈合后继续治疗2~3个月，深Ⅱº~Ⅲº混合性创面需继续治疗6~12个月，纯Ⅲº创面需继续治疗1年至1年半，极个别疤痕性体质患者需继续治疗2年以上，有个别典型疤痕性体质患者经5年治疗效果满意。这种康复继续治疗可以在医生的指导下患者或家属在家中自己包扎，经过认真康复继续治疗的患者创面皮肤可以平坦、柔软，有弹性，无痛痒，无功能障碍。经39年6万多名各类烧烫伤患者的临床治疗观察，真正的疤痕性体质患者不会超过被烧伤患者的1/500，也不会超过深度烧伤患者的2%。
Deep burn: deep Ⅱº, Ⅱº~Ⅲº and Ⅲº burn. With regard to deep burn, especially burn injuring deep layer of skin and subcutaneous tissue, if pure Western medicine therapy is adopted, the wound healed by skin grafting will form obvious scar bulge, resulting in functional disorder in knuckles. The vast majority of patients with deep wound healed by "Weiping Wound Healing Cream" will remove obvious scar apophysis and functional disorder in knuckles if they go on with rehabilitation treatment (i.e. external application of "Weiping Wound Healing Cream" and oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine decoction). The patients account for more than 98% according to clinical observation on treatment of thousands of severely-burned patients. Continuing therapy time is proportional to the depth of burning wound, i.e. the deeper the wound, the longer the continuing treatment. Generally, patients suffering deep Ⅱ° wound shall go on with treatment for 2~3 months after they are healed; patients suffering deep Ⅱ°~Ⅲº hybrid wound shall go on with treatment for 6~12 months after they are healed; patients suffering pure Ⅲº wound shall go on with treatment for one year to half a year after they are healed; some typical patients with scar habitus obtain satisfactory effects after 5-year treatment. Patients can go on with treatment by wrapping the wound by themselves or their family members at home under the guidance of the physician. Patients will recover smooth, soft and elastic skin, without pain, itch or functional disorder. According to 39-year clinical treatment on more than 60,000 burned/scalded patients, patients with scar habitus will not exceed 1/500 of the burned patients or 2% of the severely-burned patients.
二、可以使疤痕肿块逐步平坦
IV. Gradually removing scar/lump
疤痕增生所形成的疤痕肿块是烧伤界最常见的，也是多年来烧伤科医生感到棘手的，且一直在探索治疗手段。外敷“慰平烧伤再生膏”结合口服活血化瘀中药，约93%的患者两年内形成的疤痕可以由紫转红，由红转白，由白转平，皮肤由硬变软，弹性逐步增加并恢复接近正常。约有5%的患者由于疤痕与肌腱粘连或复式皮肤重叠，需要配合手术治疗。约有不超过占深度烧伤2%的疤痕体质患者治疗效果欠佳。
Scar lump resulted from scar hyperplasia is the most common in the field of burn and an intractable problem encountered by physicians in the Department of Burn. It is under exploration for years. Through external application of "Weiping Wound Healing Cream" combined with oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine promoting blood circulation by removing blood stasis, about 93% patients will experience two-year scar turning from purple to red, white and then flattened, skin turning from hard to soft, and skin elasticity enhancing gradually till recovery to the normal state. About 5% patients need operative treatment because of adhesion of scar and tendon or multiple skin overlapping. Approximately no more than 2% severely-burned patients with scar habitus have poor treatment effects.
五、 可以使超薄皮移植的创面不挛缩
V. Preventing the surface of a wound left in ultra-thin skin grafting from contracture
目前纯西医手术植皮必须使用中厚皮，或关节部位使用带蒂皮瓣，若使用薄皮或超薄皮就会皮肤挛缩，造成创面难以愈合，且受皮创面不耐磨。使用“慰平烧伤再生膏”用于薄皮或超薄皮移植成活的创面，每日外敷换药一次，经过创面愈合后1年左右的继续康复治疗，患者植皮和取皮的创面都可以无疤痕隆起，无挛缩，皮肤弹性和色素都接近正常皮肤。
At present, medium-thick skin must be used in skin grafting by pure Western medicine, or pedicle flap used in knuckles. Thin or ultra-thin skin, if used, will result in skin contracture, wound unhealed, and wound grafted vulnerable to wear. Patients will have grafting or grafted wound free of scar bulge and contracture where skin elasticity and pigment are close to those of normal skin, after they apply "Weiping Wound Healing Cream" on the wound from thin or ultra-thin skin grafting every day till the wound is healed, followed by continued rehabilitation treatment for about one year.
六、其它治疗效果
VI. Other treatment effects
  “慰平烧伤再生膏”除了有以上的功效外，对褥疮、冻疮、皮肤深度擦伤、手术切口恢复、下肢溃疡、糖尿病足均有良好的治疗和修复作用。特别是外科缝合切口，“慰平烧伤再生膏”可以让切口自然愈合并平坦、切口无明显痕迹。
Other than above effects, "Weiping Wound Healing Cream" has favorable treatment and repair effects in healing decubitus, chilblain, deep skin scratch, operation incision, ulcer of lower limb and diabetic foot, in particular surgical suture of incision. "Weiping Wound Healing Cream" will make incision naturally healed and flattened, without sharp trace.
综上所述，“慰平烧伤再生膏”在临床上具有良好的实用效果，对于救治各类烧、烫伤患者，对于皮肤各类创面修复，对于中药对皮肤组织修复的临床和基础理论的深入研究，无论从实用价值、经济价值、科研价值、社会价值，都是值得探讨的。
In conclusion, "Weiping Wound Healing Cream" has favorable practical effects clinically. In-depth research on clinical and basic theories concerning burn/scald treatment, skin wound repair and skin tissue repair with traditional Chinese medicine is worth discussing from the aspects of practical value, economic value, scientific research value and social value.
